Description

Himalayan black salt, also known as black salt, Kala Namak, black salt, Sulemani Namak or Kala loon, Himalayan black salt is a very special type of unrefined mineral rock salt with less salting power than common salt.

It comes from the Himalayas and has a distinctive sulphurous taste. Its taste is totally different from sea salt or table salt, as its chemical composition has sulphur compounds and contains traces of various minerals, along with sodium chloride, potassium chloride and iron chloride. According to classical Hindu medical science, Ayurveda, Himalayan Black Salt has great therapeutic benefits, it is very rich in iron, it helps digestion and is very good for flatulence and heartburn.
